    The Rolex Explorer II 42mm (Ref. 226570) with its classic black dial is a purpose-built professional sports watch that combines Rolex’s legendary durability with practical 24-hour functionality and a distinctive tool-watch aesthetic. Crafted from Oystersteel, this reference features a fixed 24-hour graduated bezel, highly legible Chromalight hour markers, and the signature orange 24-hour hand, allowing the wearer to distinguish between day and night while tracking a second time zone. Powered by the in-house Caliber 3285 automatic movement, it offers exceptional precision, a 70-hour power reserve, and an independently adjustable hour hand for convenient second-time-zone functionality. The robust 42mm Oyster case provides 100 meters of water resistance, while the Oyster bracelet offers excellent durability and comfort. This 2023 example, complete with box and papers, is additionally Rolex Certified Pre-Owned (CPO), officially certified by Rolex in 2026, and includes the official 2026 Rolex CPO card. This added CPO certification and documentation provide an additional level of provenance and make this an especially compelling example of the modern Explorer II.
